By the time when we got out of the airport in Quito, it was around 7 PM.
At quick glimpse, people seemed more calm than any other country in South America I've ever visited. The air was present and I felt great!
We walked in the hostel called 'secret garden' located in old town in Quito with no reservation as usual as we do, but maybe we should have remembered better that the 'secret garden' is one of popular place among those lonely planet travelers. The place looked thriving with a lot of backpackers but no room for us. So we just made a reservation for tomorrow night and moved to next hostel, no luck with this one too. After attempting three different places, anyway, we found one nice place owned by Ecuadorian(nice and kind) gave us double bed room has a big window allowing beautiful afternoon sun light coming through with private bathroom for only $8.00 per person. Amazing.
