I haven´t taken many pictures since we got to Costa Rica, since it´s been rainning all the time.

The first impression of Costa Rica(San Jose) wasn´t good.

Maybe we started out too good in Mexico.

it was raining and people in San Jose are not as kind as Oaxacan, I didn´t feel as i was welcomed.

We left for La Fortuna right next day, but again the town was very touristy

and soon we noticed that without joining the tour there were nothing much we can do by ourselves.

Despite, we did hike to the water fall.

The waterfall was beautiful, worth getting sweaty for 3 hours to get there.

Anyway, we had a strange experience that still made me giggle.

When we just got off the bus here, this guy, named Mario, approached us with hotel information,
and then he took us to the small cabin and sold us two tour packages.

The volcano tour, which is combined with hot spring tour, still makes us laugh.
He said that this package usually cost $45 including the hot spring entrance fee .
But for us he would only ask $35. (Yeah, yeah i know what you are going to say).
Anyway, one night, this guy´s brother, Luigi, came to pick us up and another lady from Puerto Rico for the tour. For a while we didn´t see any volcanic lava but after driving for a while we saw the stream of lava from far distance. After that he drove us to the hot spring, where we had quite a funky experience.

That was a small parking space on the side of the road, where cars were going right by. It was literally in the middle of nowhere. He said to us, ¨Take everything off but only the swim suit.
