Come get your draw on - This is an open invitation to join the first of many future experimental art collaborations. The intention is to unite both the local and foreign people of Vilcabamba in an all out creative collective of improvisational imagination and beauty. What better way to come together than through the expression of art?
For this project all mediums are welcome. Paints, pencils, markers, charcoal, collage, or what ever else you can think of. All are encouraged to fuse there own unique style with the whole group either by drawing into, over, or extending out of other work that has all ready been created on the canvas.
Please don't get upset if someone covers over part of your work. It is all part of the experiment! In addition to being a visual art collaboration, we want to explore the fusion of music too. Instruments are more than welcome. With that in mind please know that space is limited and smaller instruments such as hand drums will be most suitable. At the end of the Collaboration the canvas will be taken apart and raffled off into 4 original pieces of art.
The Gallery will provide 1 large-scale pieced together piece of paper to for all to work on, and a limited supply of paints and brushes.
Please bring your own materials if you have them in addition to food and drink.
